We are currently seeking 4 x Hoist Operators to join a large scale residential & commercial build in Newcastle CBD area. 45-50 hours per week (penalty rates apply after 38 hours per week). About the role: One Hoist position available immediately and the other three positions within the next 6-8 weeks, with 12 months work of ongoing work on site. You’ll start by assisting the site team with general labouring duties until the hoists are fully operational. Once operational, you’ll transition into full-time hoist operation for the remainder of the project. Duties Include: General site labouring and assisting trades during early stages Safe and efficient operation of personnel/material hoists once installed Daily pre-start checks and maintaining hoist cleanliness and safety Coordinating lifts with site supervisors and trades Assisting with deliveries and material movement across site Requirements: Current HRW - Hoist Operator Ticket (HP) White Card Proven site experience – ideally on large residential or mixed-use builds Physically fit and willing to perform labouring duties prior to hoist operation Strong safety awareness and reliability If you’re ready to get involved in a major Newcastle build and be part of a solid crew, hit Apply Now
